Fundamental Journal of Thermal Science and Engineering is a peer-reviewed international journal covering all aspects (theoretical, computational, experimental, and applied) of thermal science and engineering. The journal is to play a fundamental role in creating interaction among academic and research experts, policy makers and executives involved in academic/industrial research and development field.
Aim and Scope
Aim of the journal is to provide readers and research world unhindered and continuous access to up-to-date research work in the field of thermal science and engineering. Salient features of the journal include rigorous peer-reviewing and fast publication of accepted papers, so that it may reach timely to readers and researchers. The area covered by the journal includes but not limited to Aerospace Systems, Aerothermodynamics, Aerothermodynamics of Internal Flow, Combustion, Combustion Engines and Energy Systems in General, Combustion Systems, Cooling Processes, Transport Phenomena Taking Place in Industrial Processes, Nano and Micro Technology for Energy, Space, Biosystems and Devices, Heat Transport Analysis in Advanced Systems, Impact of Energy-related Processes on Environment, and Emerging Energy Systems, Thermophysical Properties of Materials and Fluids, Ecological Engineering, Electronic and Photonic Equipment, Energy Efficiency, Energy Generating or Consuming Equipment, Energy Systems, Engineering Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Forced, Natural or Mixed Convection in Reactive or Non-reactive Media, Single or Multi-phase Fluid Flow with or without Phase Change, Near-and far-field Radiative Heat Transfer, Combined Modes of Heat Transfer in Complex Systems (for example, Plasmas, Biological, Geological, etc.), Multiscale Modeling, Heat Exchangers, Gas Turbines, Heat and Mass Transfer, Heat Pipes, Homeland Security Systems, Inverse Methods, Measurement and Visualization Techniques, Micro- and Nanoscale Devices, Modelling and Numerical Methods Applied to Thermal Transfer, Multiphase Flow, Petrochemical Processing, Process and Chemical Engineering Equipment and Devices, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Thermal Measurement Techniques, Thermodynamics, Thermophysical Properties of Materials and Fluids, Turbulence Modeling. Fundamental Journal of Thermal Science and Engineering is a quarterly journal published in two volumes each having two issues appearing in February, May, August and November in printed as well as online versions.
Papers prepared in .pdf or .doc files may be submitted through e-mail directly to the Editorial Head Office on firstname.lastname@example.org with a letter of submission. Articles received are immediately brought to the referees/members of the Editorial Board for their opinion. In case of clear recommendation for publication, the paper is accommodated in a forthcoming issue. The paper should contain authors’ name, affiliation/address, e-mails, an abstract showing clearly the purpose of the work and 3-4 keywords. References should be given at the end of the paper.
Papers in duplicate may also be submitted through postal mail. Two hard copies of a paper along with a letter of submission may be sent at the following address:

Authors are requested to make sure that submitted article is neither published nor simultaneously submitted or accepted elsewhere for publication. Copyright of the published articles will remain with the FRDI.
One set of galley proofs of a paper will be sent to the author submitting the paper for corrections after the paper is accepted for publication. Authors are requested to check the proofs very carefully before returning it to the Editorial Head Office. Corrected proofs may be returned electronically via e-mail.
Authors of accepted papers are requested to arrange processing charges for their papers @ USD 40 per print page for authors from USA and Canada and @ EURO 30 per print page for authors from the rest of the world from their research grants/institutions. However, for authors in India this charge is INR 800 per print page.
A set of twenty five reprints of a paper is provided to the authors ex-gratis. Additional sets of reprints may also be ordered during proof correction.
